Getting an “outfit”. After the orthopedist has scanned the patient's jaws using the Primescan Sirona or 3Shape 3D scanner, the finished scans are sent to a special case center, where all patient scans are stored. After that, our dental technicians receive an order, which describes in detail the type of future work. The outfit is the so-called “technical task” of the future smile, based on the individual characteristics and characteristics of the patient.
Project. At this stage, a design is created on a computer in a special program "Exocad". With the help of a special program, the dental technician models the size and shape of the patient's tooth, individualizes it for a crown, and also removes occlusal (chewing) and interdental contacts.
Milling. After the project is approved by CadCam - a designer with an orthopedist, and then the modeled crown is sent to the milling stage, depending on its material. Consider the example of zirconium. According to the previously created 3D model from the zirconium blank (blank), the milling cutter cuts out the future crown. After the milling process, the zirconium must go through a "sintering" process - sintering.
