The fabrication of an individual dental crown is a separate and highly specialized field within modern dentistry. The process is meticulous, creative, and requires precision and great attention to detail. For many years, our clinic network collaborated with various trusted laboratories. However, with time and experience, our team realized that we wanted full and consistent control over the fabrication process, faster turnaround times, and strict supervision of material quality and durability used for each patient’s restoration. Our specialists are highly demanding when it comes to results — we strive for 100% perfection to ensure every patient is happy and satisfied with their smile. Based on this philosophy, we decided to establish our own digital dental laboratory. Our many years of experience, expertise, and a team of professionals made this goal easy to achieve.

Our laboratory “Sa-Nata Dynasty” brings together the best dental technicians in the country — true professionals and “dental artists.” For our “dental workshop,” we have also selected innovative, state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality, durable materials for producing a wide range of prosthetic restorations under the “Sa-Nata” brand. The “Sa-Nata” laboratory operates like clockwork, with each team member passionate about their craft — work that transforms people’s lives through their smiles! Every member of the dental lab and clinic team works to ensure that each patient remains satisfied with the results for many years. “Sa-Nata” operates according to the latest international protocols and uses only the best, proven, and high-quality materials. That is why we actively produce dental crowns made from zirconia and ceramics. These two materials offer numerous advantages in prosthetic dentistry — zirconia and ceramics are both strong and durable, have an aesthetic appearance close to natural teeth, and are highly biocompatible with the human body.

Crown fabrication step by step:

Receiving the “work order.” After the prosthodontist scans the patient’s jaws using a 3D scanner (Primescan Sirona or 3Shape), the completed scans are sent to a special case center where all patient scans are stored. Then, our dental technicians receive a work order detailing the type of future work. The work order is the “technical assignment” for the future smile, based on the patient’s individual characteristics and features. Design. At this stage, the design is created on a computer using the special program “Exocad.” With this software, the dental technician models the patient’s tooth size and shape, individualizes it for the crown, and defines occlusal (biting) and interproximal contacts. Milling. After the project is approved by the CAD/CAM designer together with the prosthodontist, the modeled crown is sent for milling according to the selected material. CAD/CAM is a digital method that automates the process of creating dental restorations. With CAD/CAM technology, the design of the restoration is carried out in electronic format. For example, with zirconia: based on the previously created 3D model, the milling machine cuts the future crown from a zirconia blank. After milling, the zirconia must undergo a “firing” process — sintering.

Sintering (crown firing). After milling, zirconia crowns and bridge frameworks are placed in a special sintering furnace. This stage is necessary to transform the zirconia structure from a fragile state into a stronger one. After firing, the dental ceramic technician applies ceramic mass or special liquid ceramic stains to add color, natural tooth texture, translucency, and other visual effects. Inspection and completion. The final stage involves checking the fit of the structure and delivering the finished work. The inspection on the control model after crown fabrication is the final step of the dental technician’s work. At this stage, minor adjustments may be made to achieve a perfect result and ensure maximum patient comfort.

Dental crowns from the prestigious “Sa-Nata” brand are snow-white, ultra-strong, aesthetic, and as natural-looking as possible, while also being hypoallergenic and lasting for decades. Such crowns do not change color, are not affected by decay, and do not crack or wear down. Having our own “dental workshop” gives us a unique opportunity to select and monitor new trends in modern materials that appear on the global market and integrate them into our work. This allows us to consistently meet international standards in the development of modern dentistry. Our team chooses only the best — as if for ourselves — which means your smile transformation in our clinics will always be a success with an impressive result! Another key feature of our “Sa-Nata Dynasty” laboratory is that the clinic and the lab work together as one unified, well-coordinated system. All fabrication processes are carried out under the supervision of the prosthodontist, ensuring that your custom crowns are perfected in every detail — both aesthetically and functionally.
