Prosthetic dentistry

Prosthetic dentistry is currently developing in three main directions: functional, surgical, and restorative prosthetics.

Originally based on the restoration of damaged teeth, it has now evolved into an entire science. Its scope includes not only the replacement of lost or destroyed teeth but also the study of the processes that lead to such damage, as well as the prevention of dental anomalies and deformities.

Everything in the human body is interconnected: the condition of the oral cavity and teeth reflects the state of other organs. If there are any abnormalities or pathological changes, they will inevitably affect the condition of the teeth. Conversely, when dental defects exist, they can lead to problems in internal organs.

That is why it is important not to neglect visits to a prosthodontist when needed — the consequences can be serious not only for the oral cavity but also for the entire body.
